Allscripts PAS Crashing (Not Responding) on Launch


Allscripts is crashing (Not Responding) after users launch the application and just click on the [Run] button on the dialogue box below.

1. Launch Allscripts and click a tick in the ‘Do not show this again…’ box and then the [Run] button, this will often temporarily solve the issue. 

2. If it freezes again, close the crashed Allscripts session by using the Close Internet Explorer red and white cross – (please do not use the task manager to stop the IEXPLORE.EXE program as this will cause the ‘Do not show this again…’ setting to be lost).

3. Relaunch Allscripts and follow the instructions in “1.” above.
