Safari is not supported on Desktop devices, but is supported on Mobile devices running iOS for Level 1 forms only.
Early support is offered for Microsoft Edge users on Windows 10. DatixWeb still offers the best experience when used in conjunction with Internet Explorer. IT Teams can learn how to force DatixWeb to open in Internet Explorer here: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-edge/deploy/emie-to-improve-compatibility
Microsoft Office versions later than 2007 and Office 365 can encounter issues with Document Merging and E-Mail connectivity in the Rich Client, due to an underlying change in application interoperability support in Microsoft Office. Where issues are encountered, Datix recommends using the DatixWeb equivalent module instead. Please contact the support team if you require further information.
Java is only required if you are making use of an integration with an external system (e.g. PAS, ESR, etc). In this instance, Java is required on the server hosting the integration. Java is not required on client workstations.
The .NET Framework is only utilised when the Datix Service for automated reminders is deployed at server level. The .NET framework is not required on client devices.
Datix supports all versions of Windows 10, excluding any Insider Preview builds.
Microsoft Office: Customers running more modern versions of MS office may experience issues using the “Document Merge” or “Import E-Mail from Inbox” functionality. Microsoft began deprecating the technology that the Rich Client uses to complete these functions from Microsoft Office 2007, resulting in complete removal from Office 2016 onwards. Due to the age of the Rich Client, it is not possible for RLDatix to upgrade the system to provide these functions in more recent versions of MS Office. As an alternative, RLDatix recommend using DatixWeb for completing document merge functions, or to upgrade to DCIQ. For customers that do not have a DatixWeb or DCIQ equivalent of any given module, please reach out to your account manager to discuss alternatives.
