This guide is for the Paediatric Safeguarding Team, who will need to view and print their report on Sunrise

When this yellow banner is triggered within the ‘Safeguarding’ tab on the ED Triage Document, the patient’s details will be added to the Paediatric Safeguarding Team report

To view and print this report, click on the ‘Print Reports’ icon from the main toolbar

The Report Selection screen will appear. From the Report Category dropdown box, select ‘Emergency Department’

All the available reports for that category are listed. Select the required report, ‘ED Paediatric Safeguarding Concerns’

Click the ‘Preview’ button to view the report on the screen

The report will appear in a separate window

Note – there are 2 types of reports, one for ‘ED have Paediatric safeguarding concerns regarding the following patients’ and the other for ‘ED have safeguarding concerns regarding a child cared for by this patient who attended ED’.

Both examples are displayed below

Use the icons on the printer toolbar at the top of the screen to scroll between pages and print if required

Note - that if you are running this report first thing every morning, any patient added during the day will not be seen on the report until you reprint the following morning.

Note - that patients will be held on the report for 75 hours, after that time they will be automatically drop off the list.
