This guide shows how to create a list of favourite documents and update the default display for the Document Entry screen

You can create a list of favourite documents or change the default view for the ‘Enter Document’ screen using the steps below. You can update this as often as you wish and it will remain until it is updated again

Click the ‘Preferences’ menu

Select ‘Document Entry’

The ‘Personal Document Entry’ Screen will appear From here, you can specify which default setting will best suit your needs

Creating a List of Favourite Documents The Personal Documents tab allows you to choose your most frequently used documents from the catalogues, which means you will see all your favourites (e.g. ED, Adult or Paediatric Inpatients and Outpatients) all in one place. |

Click the ‘+’ icon for the catalogue you wish to open, e.g. ‘Inpatient - Adult’

Select the document you require and click on the ‘Add’ button to move it across to the right hand side to the ‘Selected’ column

Repeat Step 5a and 5b until you have chosen all your documents

Use the ‘Move Up’ or ‘Move Down’ buttons to the side of the ‘Selected’ column to change the order if required

Click ‘Close’

Change the Default View for Document Entry ‘Personal Documents’ is the default view and will show your list of favourite documents each time you click the Enter Document button
An alternative view is ‘Start of Browse’, which will allow you to search through the catalogues each time you want to enter a document into the Patient’s Record

To change the default view, select the ‘Browse Start Point’ tab |

Select ‘Start of Browse’ from the list

Click ‘Set as Default’ in the bottom right of the window

This will display Start of Browse in the ‘Default’ box on the bottom left hand side of the window

Click ‘Close’

Note – If you choose to leave ‘Personal Documents’ as the default view, you will still be able to access the Start of Browse catalogues from the dropdown box, if required, when selecting documents on the Document Entry Worksheet |
