This guide is to show all staff how to reset your Windows password

Important Note - Please log off Sunrise before doing this. If you have a laptop, but are currently logged on to a desktop, then wait until you get on your laptop and change it there otherwise it can cause issues with out of sync passwords.

Important Note - If you are working from home, ensure you are connected via VPN before you do this.

Press CTRL-ALT-DELETE on your keyboard all at the same time.

Choose ‘Change a password’

Your name should be in the top box with the domain before it. Eg, MTW/Andronicus.Smith
Type in your old password, then a new password in the next box and confirm that new password in the last box. (Remember it has to be complex and over 8 characters, with upper, lower case, numbers & special characters like a ? or !)

Hit the Return Key or Press on the Arrow pointing right. It now changes your password (This can take 20seconds-10minutes)

Now it is done. Press OK to return to your desktop.
