Configuration Manager
Once a laptop or desktop has been imaged, follow the below instructions to speed up the device talking to and receiving information from SCCM (Bitlocker, device collections).
1: Open Control Panel – Windows 10, type control in to the search box
2: Open Configuration Manager
3: Click on the Actions tab of the Configuration Manager Properties.
4: Click on Machine Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle and then click Run Now, once clicked the following box will appear.
This will speed up the process of the device pulling policies and collection memberships from SCCM, if after a few minutes applications haven’t started to install or Bitlocker hasn’t started run the Machine Policy Retrieval & Evaluation Cycle again.
