1. EDN Training for Doctors Video

Update - 'Discharge Plan' tab has been renamed to 'eDN'.

NOTE: EDN Preview allows you to see the information entered at a quick glance - it is not a preview of what the GP sees. (The EDN GP Report information and layout has been built as per GPs' request.)

Addendum eDN Tab:-
- Critical Care Summary field available for ITU to record clinical notes for the GP.

- Primary Focus of Care & Diagnosis/Problem List fields to record the reason of the patient's visit on arrival and actual diagnosis on discharge.

- 'eDN clinical sections complete' tick box has been moved from the Finalisation tab to the eDN tab. Once this has been ticked, the buttons are enabled to send the EDN Report to the GP and/or print a copy for the patient.

Addendum Medication Tab:-

- ‘Submit to pharmacy clinical team’ and ‘Pharmacy validation note required’ buttons if selected will lock the EDN so that no discharge medications may be added. If changes to discharge medications need to be made, contact Pharmacy team/Pharmacist on call to unlock. This includes making any amendments to an EDN after a patient has been discharged for up to three days. Beyond three days, contact the patient’s GP.
