This video provides CAUs with an overview of iPro and how it works with the PAS and Sunrise systems.

ADDENDUM (MUST READ): 

Patient Case (record) will be populated automatically in iPro once the POA Appointment is booked in PAS. Search by the patient details but DO NOT CREATE a record manually under the PAT module of iPro. 


1. In the event where the POA nurse appointment is not made yet and the PHQ needs to be triggered by the booking team, PAS system should be used

Actions to perform in PAS is depending on the scenario which will trigger the PHQ to be sent without needing to go into iPro: 


(a) There is no email address against the patient record in PAS - Enter the email address of the patient in PAS via the PMI register option.  


(b) The email address against the patient record is incorrect - Update the email address of the patient in PAS via the PMI register option but making sure a new email address line is entered starting from current date. 


(c) The email address against the patient record is correct but need to send the link again to the patient - Need to trick PAS System in this case as a work around. Follow the steps below: 

STEP 1:  Update the current email address record in PAS with an end date of two days ago. 

STEP 2:  Enter a new email address line with the same address plus a character at the back of the address to purposely make the trigger fail. Ensure to enter the Start date of yesterday and click 'Submit'. 

STEP 3:  Enter a new email address line with the correct email address (remove the added character from Step 2) and enter Start date as of current date. Ensure to end date the previous email line with yesterday's date. Click Submit. 


NB: If step 2 is missed then PAS will think it is the same address ignoring the start dates and therefore will not trigger the PHQ link to be sent to the patient. 



2. In the event where the POA nurse appointment is made and the PHQ needs to be triggered by the booking team for the scenario that the email address is correct but just need to resend the link, iPro system should be used

NB: the coloured page icons against the Patient case (record) in iPro will only show if the PHQ link has been triggered from iPro system manually. When the PHQ link is automatically sent via the submission of the Elective Admission Referral Order in Sunrise, there will be no icon representation on the record. This is a correction to what has been specified in the training video. The video will be updated in due course.
