You start one-to-one and group chats in the same way, by selecting at the top of the page.
Select the down arrow at the far right of the ‘To’ field and type a name for the Group you want to create in the Group name field. Then type the names of the people you want to chat with in the ‘To’ field. You can include up to 100 people in a group chat.
Take care when selecting names to add to your group as you will be selecting from the entire NHSmail directory.

Type a new message
When you’re ready, select send
Adding people to the conversation
You can add people into a Group Chat at any time by clicking on the participants icon in the top right hand corner
When adding someone to a Group Chat you can decide whether to show the new invitee the chat history or not:
The whole chat history, back to the first message is saved within the system. If someone is removed from the group their chat responses are still held in the chat history
