NHS England have released a new system where the staff can unlock their smartcard without having to register for it or without visiting the Registration Authority for appointments.

If your smartcard is locked, please go to the Self-Service Unlock Application and follow the instructions on screen.

The application will email you a one-time security code that you can use to reset the passcode on your smartcard by yourself, without having to register for it or contact your Registration Authority for an appointment.
